Excellent. Protects you against many attacks, I never imagined to receive so many.

This helped me clean up some pretty serious threats. Nice work. Thank you for peace of mind. The alt icon doesn’t work with the dark menu bar though. That’s hardly a bug. Just a note for a future update.

On my MacPro 2008 running, Server, version 5.1.7, OX 10.11.6 and Firewall CyberGuard version 2.03 I’ve run into an issue that I can’t even discuss with the author since there is no email or phone to contact them. I’ve tried to visit their web site without success either. The problem. When my server sleeps for more then an hour and is awaken it exhibit unbelievable lethargy. For example: When I open any program it can take anywhere from 2 minutes or more. Or when I switch from one programs window to another programs window it can take 1 minute or longer. I just got tired of seeing the Mac ball cursor spin and spin and spin. Frankly I would like my money retuned since I haven’t been able to address the matter with the author and the only solution is to reboot the cpu. That is unacceptable and well I’d like to hear from the company….

Consistently detects & blocks MiTM attacks. Scans & Blocks Suspicious Ports & supplies the IP addresses. Would like to think this app has protected my Mac!

I am studying abroad in China, and I downloaded this app in order to give me piece of mind in the protection of my computer and to help free up internet blockages. Every time I go to turn on the Firewall, my computer freezes up. I want my money back, I cannot even use the app-what a waste of money. I had downloaded this because of all the positive reviews, but the company must be having employees write fake reviews about this application. Absolutely do not get it.

I really know the desperate situation when you have high speed internet and your youtube is not playing as your network is under attack. This app is totally useless. Dont waste any money and if you really want to try have no hope with it. You will be less disappointed.

I’ve been a target to hackers so much that I had to have a new OS X installed at the genius bar. Since then I invested in this app and so far it’s been smooth sailing. I like the app but it appears to need an update as it locks up with El Capitan and has to be force quit or requires the settings to be changed so it doesn’t launch on start up then a system reboot to stop the beachball. Within a week of my last review post, the app has been updated to address the issues and is now back in full form. Thank You, it’s working perfectly now.

I have an extensive system in my house. 3 router firewalls and 1 XServe running Squid Caching. I’ve put these on all 3 macs. I’m not paraniod, but I work for an ISP. I have to VPN in to our Data Center. I like the OS X firewall option considering it’s a BSD backbone. But the options really stink so far as absolute control. That in it’s self will protect the system. But just like Spinal Tap, “But this one here goes to 11”. But get it.

If all the options that it provides works, GREAT. However, why wouldnt you do simple UI things like using images that look decent, this looks very odd and makes me feel the developers put the same effort into the actual program. Will report back later.

Satisfied customer.

This App works round the clock. It notifies me all intruders to my IP address. I’m completely satisfied. I give it 5 stars!

Afraid of phishing, and Mac’s potential flaw, I believe it is nessisary to have some protection on my computer. This app prevent virus to infect my computer and I don’t know the effect of it, because it is safe at now. It is worth trying.

Network Monitor Shield detects connections from my Roku and from my iphone and from my husband’s computer, so I’m getting alerts all the time. I wish there was a whitelist that I could put IPs on that I don’t need to be alerted about. I just reread the manual, and I don’t see anything about how to set this so it ignores connections that are ok. As I’m typing this I’ve been alerted that my computer has accessed the internet, and so has my Roku. Not sure what my Roku is doing, nobody’s watching it, but I’m being alerted to my own internet usage. It is good to know it works, and frankly, if my son wasn’t off at college I might like to know if he was up using his computer when he was supposed to be asleep or cleaning his room, but, you get the gist. If you were a new user and didn’t know how to tell friend from foe by the IP you could get freaked out by how many suspicious connections you were being alerted to. As an intermediate user, I’m seeing so many non-alert alerts that if one I needed to know about came through I probably wouldn’t notice it among all the false alerts.

As a recent victim of phising, I have become more aware of the security of my online activities. That is why I need an app like this to montior and protect me from any possible threats and attacks. I just set up the app and I really hope this one can give me some assurance.

This would be awesome in regular internet connection but it can drive you crazy on satelliet connection. Even when I am not on the network it gives me messages of portscans and syn floods for the router. It is the best cyber threat protection just maybe too good for my situation.
